On August 19, 2025, the football world was set on fire when Newcastle United’s star striker Alexander Isak took to Instagram during the PFA awards to demonstrate a shockingly bitter message. After being named in the PFA Premier League Team of the Season after his remarkable 27-goal season in 2024–25, Isak did not hold back.
Isak made clear accusations that Newcastle broke promises, stated that “trust is lost” and said that relationship “can’t continue.” The post, while he was absent from the award ceremony, has placed Newcastle in a high-stakes transfer situation amidst the upcoming window deadline of September 1, 2025.
